Whitney South Sea Expedition of the American Museum of Natural History Collection.

This collection includes both edited and compiled bound volumes A-FF as well as supplementary material, which includes carbon copies of the works, some original notebooks, catalogs, and correspondence. Much but not all of this secondary material is found in the bound lettered volumes. Also includes two logbooks for the schooner 'France', a series of maps and approximately 177 black and white photographs. Individual descriptive records can be found for most items in the Whitney South Sea Expedition of the American Museum of Natural History. Held by the AMNH Department of Ornithology Archives.
